Firefox: AdBlock Filters
Download my Firefox AdBlock Extension Filters
One of the greatest features of Mozilla's Firefox is the ability to easily add extensions that perform a variety of tasks. One of my favorites is the AdBlock Extension. Although I have added advertisement to this website and AdBlock will remove those ads, I still recommend using this extension. For those of you who have installed the AdBlock Extension and wish to add filters to your extension, I have made my filters available here.
Firefox AdBlock Extension Filters
To use these filters:
- Verify you have the AdBlock Extension installed. If you do not have it installed, do so at this site: adblock.mozdev.org After installing the extension, shut down Firefox and restart it.
- Save the Filters I have provided here onto your Desktop, by right-hand clicking on the above link and selecting
Save Link As... - After saving the file, go to
Tools,AdBlock,Preferences. - In AdBlock preferences, select
AdBlock OptionsandImport Filters.. - Select the Filters file from the location to which you saved it.
- Click
Open. - A
Confirmwindow will appear, asking if you want to overwrite the current list? If you wish to remove the filters you have already created and replace them with my filters, clickOK. If you want to add my filters to the filters you have created, clickCancel.

Cheers for the ad filter, I did a google search for adblocker filter and your site was #1 so well done.

Nice! Thanks

A bit overinclusive, isn't it? It blocks ALL images from Amazon.com, for example.
Nice filter but the last guy was right. No images from Amazon.com is too much. The good thing is that I cam edit those entires and leave the good stuff still on there. thank .
I do did a AdBlock Filter search on Google and found your website, thank you the Filter is working perfectly fine :D

Thnx a lot,
Also a search with google, and you was no.1 :-)
Lists of URLs are slow and ineffectual. Do everyone a favour and link the most comprehensive filter-set about, instead: http://www.geocities.com/pierceive/adblock/
A excellent helping hand, giving me best of breed info that’s is useful.

Nice list. While testing it I found a new one:
*/sda/*
That's ads spelled backwards.
